Desert Fest

Sam Mellish captures unique portraits of people at Camden's DesertFest using a Zone VI large format camera

My latest work, Desert Fest is a limited edition photo-zine featuring 41 unique portraits of the people who attended the 5th Desertfest.

Desertfest is an annual London festival of stoner rock – heavily distorted, groove laden, bass-heavy melodic metal. Away from the crowds, thundering guitars, blood, sweat and occasional tear, this new project embraces the stoner rock community.

All images were captured using a Zone VI large format camera. Printed on 100% recycled paper, this is a limited edition, individually numbered zine from Diesel Books available to purchase here
